Food: FSA Update to E.Coli Cross Contamination Guidance

The FSA have published the 3rd Q&A update to the E.Coli cross contamination guidance which includes information on the application of RANs, clarification on BS EN numbers for cleaning products as well as new information relating to the change of use of complex equipment from raw to cooked; categorisation of black pudding as raw or cooked; suitability of probe wipes for controlling cross contamination; the use of food preparation sinks for ready to eat foods and the use of bleach to ‘clean’ cloths.
