The Nationwide Caterers Association (NCASS) has recently produced revised guidance covering the installation and safe use of Liquified Petroleum Gas (LPG) in mobile catering. One piece of guidance covers commercial catering trailers and vehicles converted for mobile catering titled ‘Guidance for the Installation of LPG and LPG Fired Equipment in Catering Trailers, Converted Vehicles, Portable Kitchens, Carts, Trolleys and Bikes’. The second set of guidance covers tented structures ‘Guidance for the Installation of LPG and LPG Fired Equipment in Tented Structures, Stalls and Gazebos’. The guidance documents can be found on RIAMS in the Health and Safety module under Event Management.
