January 29, 2013

Following consultation to remove unnecessary legislation, the Minister for Sport and Tourism has announced some changes that will be brought before Parliament. These include removal of a licensing requirement for most entertainment under the Licensing Act 2003 where this finishes at 11pm and is below an audience cap (500 for plays, dance and live music, 1000 for sport). The statement is on RIAMS in the Licensing Act 2003 section.
