RHE to Present at NEHA Conference in Las Vegas

RH Environmental Managing Director Robert Halford has been invited to present at the forthcoming National Environmental Health Association (NEHA) conference in Las Vegas. The event which this year is being arranged in partnership with the International Federation of Environmental Health 13th World Congress will run from 7th to 10th July. It is the foremost conference of its type in the United States and aims to highlight innovative ideas, approaches and methods with environmental health officers from all over the world. Robert’s presentation will be entitled Intelligent Service Delivery through a Web Based Environmental Health Knowledge System.  As Rob explains this is a great opportunity for the company; “I’m excited to be presenting in Las Vegas to an international audience and to show case some UK innovation. What we’ve achieved in the last two years with RIAMS is remarkable and this is the icing on the cake.”

The session has also been selected as part of the events Virtual Conference which broadcasts live via web streaming to fellow professionals around the world and will then be archived for attendees to view after the event. Mark Keim the Managing Director of the Centres for Disease Control and Prevention in Atlanta will be the keynote speaker for what is the NEHA’s 78th annual conference and delegates are expected from across America. The four day programme will include sessions on Children’s Environmental Health, Food Protection and Defence, Healthy Homes and Communities and Technology and Environmental Health. The NEHA which was founded in California in 1937 currently has a membership of over 4,500 environmental health professionals spread across the public and private sectors.
