Unveiling a New Housing Trainer
Some of our cients will already know one of our new housing trainers, Alan Davies. On 6 June, he is delivering day 1 of an openly advertised 2 Day HHSRS course at the YHA Bristol on the historic Narrow Quay.
One of a new generation of RHE housing trainers, Alan is bringing his relaxed and informative approach and using it to introduce the rigours and thoroughness of the highly regarded training programme devised by Dr Stephen Battersby and John Bryson who were involved in the original HHSRS training programme rolled out by DCLG from 2004 to 2006. Stephen Battersby was also one of the team at Warwick University that developed the HHSRS and drafted the Operating Guidance.
If you would like to gain an HHSRS certificate of competence and can attend day 1 on 6 June and day 2 on 18 July, you may want to take a look at the course overview for the full details. The courses are assessed and feedback given to support the candidate, and to provide assurance that the delegates achieve proficiency in the application of the HHSRS.
There are still a few places available for this training day. Think of it – historic location meets current relevance and future competence in the exercise of public service – not a bad top or bottom line!
