Introducing the 2017 RHE Housing Conference
The introduction of the Housing and Planning Act 2016 led to additional powers being granted to LAs and enforcement professionals in the private rented sector. However, dealing with rogue landlords, protecting tenants and ensuring landlords meet their responsibilities starts with smart and effective use of Part 1 of the Housing Act 2004. RHE are hosting their third annual housing conference to assist practitioners, managers and private sector professionals to make full use of the existing and new legislative provisions.
This year’s event is entitled ‘Safeguarding the health of tenants: Using the Housing Act 2004 & the HHSRS effectively’ and will be held on 27 September 2017 at the The Birmingham Repertory Theatre. Dr Helen Carr, Professor of Law and Judge at the First-tier Tribunal (Property Chamber) is chairing the event and we have compiled a highly respected panel of speakers from the First-tier Tribunal, law firms and local authorities. The event is kindly sponsored by Decent and Safe Homes (DASH).
