It’s difficult to downplay the degree of expertise Tim Glews can bring to the table when it comes to pollution prevention and control.

Tim Glews is a Chartered Environmental Health Practitioner and the Public Protection Manager at Dudley MBC. He has over 34 years experience in environmental health and over 27 years of regulating industrial processes, including some of the more complex Part B and A(2) activities. Since 1986 he has managed his own consultancy specialising in education and training, giving him extensive experience in lecturing throughout the UK and Europe. He is an established visiting lecturer at both the universities of Birmingham and Wolverhampton.

Tim is the Chairman of Midland Joint Advisory Council for Environmental Protection (MJAC), a pollution group advising local authorities, universities, PHE and the Environment Agency within the Midlands region. He has been involved with numerous SG and PG guidance note reviews and is still listed as “expert” for three industrial sectors by CIEH.

Tim is offering to assist and support his environmental health colleagues through the presentation of an introductory training course.

New to RHE, ‘An Introduction to Local Authority Pollution Control and Integrated Pollution Control’ is taking place on Thursday 16 November at Chasewater Innovation Centre, Staffordshire. We would advise you not to miss this opportunity.
