RIAMS Development News

During November Robert Halford, Managing Director and Jonathan Williams, Sales and Support Manager met up with our Australian partners (Kernow Environmental Services) in Dubai to demonstrate how RIAMS can be used to help with Knowledge Management across the UAE. The Dubai Municipality Food Safety Team are set to launch their new Food Watch programme over the next year with RHE and Kernow to play a part in this with the launch of RIAMS and RIAMS Communities in the region.

Bobby Krishnar, from the Dubai Municipality, showed RHE and Kernow the plans for how the system will work including new blockchain technology to trace imports into the country from the source and ways in which consumers can check on the details of all food premises within Dubai.

During the conference, Jon and Rob got a chance to partake in workshops with organisations and governments from all around the world. One of the highlights included a food forecasting system run by the City of Chicago which has helped with identifying food premises with poor food hygiene.
