How Does Single Sign-on Work?
In the first of our ‘How To’ series, we will introduce you to our latest new feature, Single Sign-on (SSO). Our SSO system allows you to use one set of login credentials (email and password) to access our services.
For example, if you have an account on more than one of our apps (The Noise App, The ASB App – and any future apps we may produce), your login details will be the same on all products. If you ever needed to reset your password, this will automatically reset it for all of the apps, ensuring that it is a simple way to use our products.
One of the benefits of this new SSO is that this will provide you, the user, with a seamless experience while using our services. SSO allows you to securely move from one application to another.
An additional benefit is that the SSO has a central authentication point; this means there is increased security for your data. Through the new SSO system, your data is stored on a central, secure server rather than the individual service you are using.
