How to Sync Reports
In this week’s ‘How To’ series, we discuss how to fully submit your report as well as introduce our latest new feature ‘Force Sync’. When you submit your report, it is designed to automatically sync and push through to your service provider. The syncing process only takes a minute or two and once complete, you will notice that a black circle with a white tick will appear on the left-hand side of the case to indicate it was successfully submitted.
It had been brought to our attention that in some cases, recordings do not fully sync when the app has been closed too early or has poor signal. To resolve this, we have implemented a feature, ‘Tap to Sync’. This will appear at the top of your Noise Diary Screen, above the latest case. For Android users, a yellow box will appear indicating how many recordings require syncing. To sync these recordings, push the ‘Sync’ red button within the yellow box. For iOS users, the ‘Tap to Sync’ feature appears on the right-hand side above the most recent case in grey writing.
So if you do encounter a non-synced report, you will simply need to re-open the app, with WiFi connection or 3/4G and push the sync feature. This process will only take a couple of minutes and you should then see that the case has been updated.
